SellmySmallbiz is serious about protecting the privacy of our members.  In general, visitors will not be asked to share personal information.  When you decide to become a REGISTERED BUYER or SELLER, we will collect personal information, such as name, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, payment information, as well as information concerning the business that you are interested in selling/buying.  This information will be stored in a secure manner.  We are not responsible for securing your personal information once you leave our secure site, through a link or otherwise.  We will not share your personal information with anyone unless it is in connection with the business conducted on this site.  This privacy policy may change at any time.

The technology used for third party billing is not controlled by SellmySmallbiz, and the security and confidentiality of that technology is not guaranteed by SellmySmallbiz.

REGISTERED SELLERS are responsible for the information included in their listing.  SellmySmallbiz does not allow the following in business listings: fraudulent information; infringement of another's copyrighted work, trade secret or proprietary information; the sale of stolen property or counterfeit items; the violation of any law or statute; the inclusion of threatening or harassing material; obscene information or that containing child pornography; anything that could contain any computer programming that could be damaging to this site or to that of any visitors, any Trojan horses, viruses, worms; any link to another site that contains any of the aforementioned.  REGISTERED SELLERS must ensure that their e-mail address and the information on their listing is accurate and up-to-date.  SellmySmallbiz may edit the content or refuse to list any listing that violates any of these rules.  

By using this site, REGISTERED BUYERS and SELLERS and visitors agree that SellmySmallbiz is not responsible for any damages or lost profits in connection with use of this site.  Inquiries must be responded to in a timely manner and deleted by the REGISTERED SELLER from this site when the business described is no longer available.  REGISTERED SELLERS also agree to check the accuracy of their listing once it is posted on this site.  SellmySmallbiz does not guarantee that the accuracy of information entered by REGISTERED BUYERS AND SELLERS onto this site.  We cannot guarantee that you will not be offended by information included in listings on this site.  All listings will be reviewed before posted, but SellmySmallbiz is not responsible for any information included in any listing.  Once a REGISTERED BUYER and SELLER have made contact, all further proceedings occur solely between the REGISTERED BUYER and SELLER, and SellmySmallbiz is not responsible for any damages.

Only those who can enter into legally binding contracts may conduct business with this site.  We refuse the right to do business with anyone at any time.

All visitors, REGISTERED BUYERS and SELLERS and any others using this site agree to hold SellmySmallbiz and its officers, employees, directors, affiliates and  agents harmless from any claim or demand, including without limitation damages for loss of business profits, loss of business, loss of use or of data or interruption of business, arising in connection with use of this site.

In summary, REGISTERED SELLERS and BUYERS are responsible for the accuracy of the information that they input onto this site.  REGISTERED BUYERS and SELLERS, as well as all other visitors to this site, agree to hold SellmySmallbiz harmless from any damages or lost profits arising out of the use of this site.  Payments for listings on this site must be made in U.S. dollars and will be charged on a monthly basis, beginning the day after the listing is activated.
